Adaptability of Human Communities

Can citizens and politicians ever come to understand that endless growth in a finite planet is a delusion?
Can human institutions adapt to the end of growth and the transition to de-growth and post-growth? Can human communities adapt peacefully when the current, globalized industrial infrastructure significantly deteriorates under excessive load and commodity supply chains are disrupted?

This edition includes several articles on critical issues of social and ecological justice, and links to other significant publications and supplementary materials. The sequence of articles follows the see ~ judge ~ act pattern (with some overlaps). It is becoming increasingly clear that the forthcoming transition from growth to post-growth is not likely to be fair and peaceful if global population and consumption keep growing and the culture of power prevails. Can most humans adapt to supply constraints? Peacefully?
