MAGA ~ The Climax of Patriarchal Civilization

2024.Page1.Banner.jpg

The MAGA slogan ("Make America Great Again") signals the climax of the patriarchal techno-industrial civilization on a global scale. It is a global issue, not just an American issue. Is the ensuing confusion and chaos part of some strategy pursuant to the common good? The "America First" ideology may lead to a crash of the global economy and a gigantic financial bailout for the benefit of the 1% at the expense of humanity and the biosphere. It is impossible for the USA to flourish in isolation from the community of nations and the entire community of creation. Project 2025 is the blueprint for this geopolitical madness. The antidotes in the short term are human resilience and nonviolent resistance. In the long term, the path to a sustainable future entails population and consumption degrowth, care of the global commons, and global solidarity.
How? Responsible parenthood, dispersal away from large cities, lifestyle simplification. If adaptation is not voluntary, it will happen involuntarily via authoritarian edicts and brute force, because "time is greater than space" but it is evident that the planet is getting crowded.
